This group is for those ladies who are really thick and need some confidence. It is hard to look int he mirror and not like what you see. How do you stay motivated to lose weight when you feel like you are going to be this way always. Lets help each other stay motivated....This is a mental fight as well as a physical fight with our bodies. Ladies no matter how PLUS we are we definitely must feel pretty lucious and ultimately sexy.
Hello to all, I tryed to post here once bfore but I don't know if I did it right. I have some major troubles going on in my life right now and am having major depression issues. I am Bi Polar-sizo and had to go back on my meds- Symbyax. which also leads to weight gain. I don't have the energy to even go for a slow walk right now. Sorry to just but that's how ii'm feeling. Thanks for listening
Hi there,
Welcome to the group. The people here seem to be very nice.
I'm sorry to hear you've been depressed. You weren't bitching though..you were telling us how you feel and I think this is a safe place to do that. Taking your meds right now is helping you through this hard time..and in the future you might be able to go off them again. It's not a setback of any kind, it's just a chance to give you a break so you can go forward and try again.
Stay strong
Dear Depressed,
I also have bi polar affective disorder and am taking strong doses of two different mood stabilizers. I might not know exactly how you feel but I am definitely in the ball park. I am on a high protein diet and it helps me tremendously, I eat frequently and I can feel myself really slowing down (like my body has been immersed in thick glue)if I miss a snack. I know that the thought a planing a meal or snack seems overwhelming but it just takes one to start. A yogurt cup, 1/2 glass of milk, handful of nuts etc. Just trying to encourage, it works for me. Chin up, friend
