chantix

posted by gamblur on 9:08 am

Has anyone taken this. I have taken it for 2 weeks and I can get no real good sleep. Its made the withdrawls tolerable. Iam on day 4 of no smokes. I am thinking of quiting the chantix in a week when I know the withdrawl ought to over.  Anyone else do this?  When I got out of the Navy I could run a 6 min mile. I can barely do a mile now.  I talked to my doc about it He told me 30 years of smoking I will most likely never do a six minute mile. I will be able to run and have a respectable time.

Hi Gamblur,
I quit with Chantix about 6 months ago. I took it for one month. I had issues with sleeping also! It gave me crazzzzy dreams and it felt like I never slept.  I would highly reccomend sticking with it. I know it feels frustrating but in the long run you will have quit! Which I realize is both scary and exciting.
I highly reccomend sticking it out and doing at least a month. It works I promise! :o)
Good luck!

Hey, I also took Chantix and I've been smoke free for over 2 years. I called it a miracle drug. LIke Sandravonne mentioned it does work. Good luck.
