I'm also new and wanted to join a group to stay motivated in this journey. I workout almost every day, I love swimming. My goal is to loose about 20 pounds to reach my ideal weight. Dieting is the hardest part, I made a lot of changes in the calorie consumption and managed to loose about 40 pounds in the last year or so. Glad to know there are many people in similar situation and we can all help each other. Currently I'm using a program called calorie king and it's really helping me stay focused. Today I swam about 2 hours and so far I got my cravings under control. My weaknesses are mainly sweets: chocolates, apple turnovers, ice cream, etc..... I try substituting those with more fruits and similar things with lowest possible amount of calories. We'll see how evertything goes.....
