This group is for anyone out there who just needs a little motivation from someone to help push them that extra mile. Whether it's gaining the strength to pass up that chocolate bar, or to get up off the couch and exercise. A little motivation can go a long way! New and confused

I just found this website over the weekend and am impressed with all it has to offer. I am looking for a support group or buddy, but I am not sure I am in the right place. I am having a few questions....Is this a forum/board format? Is there someplace on this website for menu idea's for the different diets they have listed? That would help me so much. I'd love to try the Mediterranean Diet without buying a book. Any idea's or thoughts?

I am ooking for a meal plann also along with a shopping list for the week so I can plan maybe on Sunday for the rest of the week.  If you find it here, please let me know hoe to do this?

hi, I just went through all of this.  I decided what the basis for my food is, for example you can loose weight by eating as you are but by cutting back the amounts you take in. What I was eating was really bad, there was no room for health at all, so I've decided to introduce lots of vegetables and fruit into it. 
Then I look at how I want to eat. I can't eat just three meals a day, I prefer to graze, so on that basis i have split my 1200 calories allowance into 6 (unequal) parts.  The last part is that I can spend 150 calories on whatever I want. 
on that basis I bought a calorie book today, this tells me calories for almost everything.  For meal plans / recipes a simple google search will help. You can even find meal plans specifically for the amount of calories that you have.
I'm praying that all this effort wil help me lose the weight I need to *smile*
