I'm getting excellent results using the HackDiet tools and rational, numbers-based
approach, but I'm having a heck of a time getting anyone else to see the wonders of it.
All that number-crunching isn't for everyone, I know, but it's revolutionizing my life,
and I'd love to see more discussion in this Livestrong group.
I began on October 17, 2010 at 255.6 lbs. My goal is 155 lbs. Today the scale says 229.6
and the trendline says 235.6, so I'm down at LEAST 20 lbs--and I don't mind saying 25 to
anyone who asks.
MyPlate has been my single most valuable tool because of its vast and growing nutrition
database. Another tool: I recorded The Hacker's Diet and re-listen to parts of it most
days while I'm riding my bike (there's a lot of info in there and I'm still gleaning new
bits). I LOVE the Libra Android app (which reports to DailyBurn instead of here--ahem!
Livestrong! Get with the Android)--it's where I record my daily weight and watch my
trendline.
My pretty-reliable bathroom scale, my kitchen scale, my lunch/bento box collection, and my
bike are some of the other tools that are helping me create a new, permanently thin life
for myself.
How about you? Anyone? Want to discuss?
