Hi I am a pescatarian, non-dairy. I have been eating the 1550 calories suggested by my plan to lose 2lbs a week. I lead an active lifestyle but in the last week I think I have become very anemic. I have never been anemic before but I am getting dizzy when i stand up, even right after I eat and my legs get tired really quickly when I squat down and stand up (something I do alot for work and has never been a problem before). Does anyone have suggestions?
Hi! Have you ever taken iron pills before? Slow-release iron pills should help. You should just keep some on hand though; you probably won't need them everyday. Most people get anemic randomly throughout different times of the month or year just based on hormone levels-or the stress of dieting, or cal modifications...My cal count's down to 1454 now-which is great since I've been steadily losing weight-but yeah, I've Totally had my weak days as well!
