Whether you have 10lbs to lose or 100, join me in this mini challenge to pull ourselves out of a heavy winter sleep so we can step lightly into spring. We can do it!
Maybe I am the last person to realize this, but Fiber One cereal can get all your fiber
needs in for the day quite easily! I was plugging along eating my Kashi Go Lean at
10 g fiber per serving and happy with that. THEN I picked up a box of the Fiber
One Original (little sticks) and a box of Fiber One Honey Clusters. I have been
eating one serving of each for breakfast with skim milk. I decided to mix them
together for a little taste; I mean, I didn't really want to eat sticks for
breakfast! 1/2 cup of sticks plus 1 cup of honey clusters and 1 cup of skim
milk...All together, this totals:
300 calories
505 mg sodium
27 g fiber!
Yep, I have been doing that for a while. Fiber one little sticks are 57% of daily need. Better late than never! I add mine to yogurt, oatmeal, etc.
No, It's awesome and I just started eating it for breakfast--not every day but many days! LOL! and I have been eating the sticks all by themselves. Just one serving with 1/2 light vanilla soy. That leave calories for fresh fruit if I want. Go Fiber One. and their commercials are very funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8O6PcrSROXc
