I got the newer "more workouts" version of the Wii active I like it a lot more.. The first time i ever did the wii active I was sore for 3 days! I have never been that sore before. I am a newbie to the group. I made a new goal to exercise more, and then not worry about my weight #. I kept missing workouts but still squeezing in a few a week. I was almost finished I had lost like 6 lb but then wieight myself yesterday and was back up to where I was before. I am restarting the 6 week challenge today, with keeping a count on my calories. I am not going to weigh myself except weekly, I get too frustrated when it goes back and forth. Who else is on this challenge and would like to work together with me :)

Good Luck! I am on my second 30 day challange. After the first 30 day, I didn't lose any weight and I got frustrated and wanted to quit. However my clothes fit better and I look better so I think I just got some muscules and toned up. Hopefully this time around I will lose pounds too!

I love the newest version too! I like the music, the "scenery", and I am in love with the step workouts. The dumbbell attachments for the controllers would be great during step, for more intensity. I enjoyed the original Wii Active, particularly for running and boxing. I never finished the 30-day challenge, but I exercised regularly 3-4 times a week, using a lot of customized workouts. I didn't lose any weight in the first two months, but I did gain a lot of muscle tone and endurance. I also neglected to count my calories.
This time around, I am tracking my calories faithfully, and adjusting my diet. I will not stick with the 6-week challenge, as I get bored easily and need a lot of variation in my workouts. I am also beginning the 30 day shred (which may take me 90 days to finish, as much as I like to skip around). I have lost about 6 pounds since New Year's.
