Nightmare Before Christmas Cookie Jars
By Baking Bites
Dr Finkelstein: Sally, that soup ready yet?
Sally: Coming….lunch!
Dr F.: Ah, what’s that? Worm’s wart, mmm, and…frog’s breath?!
S: What’s wrong? I-I thought you liked frog’s breath.
Dr F.: Nothing’s more suspicious than frog’s breath! Until you taste it I won’t
swallow a spoonful.
Fans of the movie the Nightmare Before Christmas will surely appreciate this set of creepy cookie jars, inspired by the film. It’s a fun set to have around the house any time of the year, but seems particularly well suited to Halloween. The jars are ceramic, but designed to look very similar to the stone jars from the movie, and labeled with staple ingredients from every mad scientist’s kitchen pantry: Deadly Night Shade, Worm’s Wart and Frog’s Breath. For reference, the Deadly Night Shade was used to make Dr Finkelstein fall asleep, Worm’s Wart covered up the taste of the Deadly Night Shade, and Frog’s Breath acted as a flavoring to cover up the taste of Worm’s Wart.
I know that I would be suspicious of something called “Frog’s Breath” - which is exactly why these Nightmare Before Christmas Cookie Jars would be a great place to keep a batch of yummy cookies (or as-yet-undistributed Halloween candy) to prevent them from getting eaten too quickly.
