By Living Life Abundantly

by Marcus C. Evans

It’s close to quitting time and you’ve been feeling sluggish, lethargic and grumpy for a while. You know you won’t have any energy to do the things you need to do when you get home. You’ve had more coffee than you should (at least half a pot) and any more really won’t help.

There must be a truly natural product out there. One that tastes good and is also good for you. Yes, acai berry products are a natural source of energy and are good for you. And the taste, well, do you like chocolate covered fruit?

There are many so called natural products being sold and they promise a quick energy boost, when you use them. However, do you really know what you are getting? Most don’t work as they claim and may also be bad for you. Definitely not what you are looking for. Acai berry products have taken the word by storm and are now available in the Australian health food market.

The acai berry is a delicious fruit you will want to try. Acai drinks are made from acai berries. These berries come from the acai palm, a palm that has been harvested in South America for several hundred years. The acai berry is plain and resembles a grape. However, this berry tastes like chocolate fruit, if you can imagine that!

Grown in South America, the acai fruit makes up over 40% of the diet of the population. Acai is used in drinks, added to cereal, as a topping for ice cream and eaten fresh by the native population of South America.

The products of the acai berry, and the berry itself, have been considered for hundreds of years as a source of quick energy and held in high regard for its all around health benefits. The fruit itself is very perishable and can only be obtained outside of South America in a powder or freeze-dried form. As in the United States and European countries, acai berry products are now found in many Australian health food markets.

The acai berries are known for their health benefits. Energy is just one of these benefits. The acai berry is abundant in antioxidants containing more than red wine. It is also jam packed with amino acids, protein and omega 3 fatty acids. The berries are a great source of fibre which we all know is needed for proper bodily functions. The berry also contains natural sugars we need and is pretty much the perfect fruit to be an energy producer for all Australians craving a healthy energy boost.

When faced with exhaustion, lethargy and a general feeling of tiredness. Do not drink any more coffee or questionable quick energy drinks. Keep the acai products in the office refrigerator for a quick pick me up anytime you feel like dragging your feet. It’s a healthy, safe source of energy infusion suitable for any time of day.

Feel good, be healthy and full of energy and use the acai berry daily.
