What Kind of Exercises to Get Fit at Home?

Gyms and fitness facilities offer a variety of equipment for performing strengthening and aerobic exercises, but you can perform many of these exercises in your own living room. With a minimal amount of equipment, strengthen your upper and lower body at least twice a week and perform moderate aerobic workouts at least 150 minutes a week, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Perform three or four sets of eight to 12 repetitions of each muscle-strengthening exercise.
