Supplements That Work Well With Reishi Mushrooms

Reishi mushrooms grow in coastal areas of China. They thrive on rotten tree stumps and logs. The Chinese name for the reishi mushroom is ling zhi, which means “herb of spiritual potency.” The Chinese have used this medicinal mushroom since ancient times as a treatment for breathing disorders, lethargy, insomnia and frailty. Some medical communities today continue to use reishi mushrooms and supplements as therapy for several medical conditions.
