What Is the Difference Between a Karate Front Kick & a Teep?

Karate is a martial art developed in Japan, and Muay Thai is a combat sport from Thailand that is similar to kickboxing. Both sports employ your hands, feet, elbows and knees to strike an opponent. The karate front kick and the Muay Thai teep kick might look similar, but each serves a distinct purpose. Although both kicks can be used for offense and defense, the teep kick is primarily used for defense, while the front kick is most commonly used for offense.
