Edvald Boasson Hagen would be really cool. Ask him about that time he beat that "italian guy" he did not know the name of. The guy was Di Luca! Funny story, great kid! The new Eddy Merckx!

Lance, dont get a haircut during the race! BTW, what would one have to do to get the race card from today? volunteer, lead a ride? you guys killed it today. 15k of climbing in the heat. that takes amazing heart.

Forget "epic" that was brobdingnagian. The heat, the hills, ("Oh, the horror" - Marlon Brando) the distance; you guys are the ones who are "hors categorie": courage, fortitude, persistence. We're pulling for you to get Levin on the podium as the only American to stand on all three GT podiums. Lancestrong, Levistrong, Livestrong. (et apres, le tour de France...)

I'm happy to see the increasing form of Lance.I was so happy to watch Sastre,Menchov,Basso,Di Luca on the final climb, but this time with Lance!I think they are hapy too, cause they know when the Tour comes, they will not able to ride with Lance. :)))
It was great to see Lance-the Boss,Lance-the great champion helps to his teammate Levi.Lance is so great rider and champion, but it is too insignificant compared with Lance-the human...
So my Idol,go on-the world walks with you!

Yes, you look a bit tired, Lance, and who won?t be? After 16 stages especially the one yesterday, anyone will be tired. About the haircut, I think a nice curly hair looks fine to let it grow an inch or two, maybe after the Giro, you can have a haircut. :-) That?s a nice thing about you, Lance, even you?re tired, wanting to have a haircut and relax, but you still make time for us fans, and so as Levi.

Now to Levi, I don?t know what you do, but you don?t look tired to me. It seems like you?re just starting the Giro. :-) Maybe it?s just the way your facial expression all the time, tired or not tired. But you?re doing great out their Levi, having a team like yours, especially with Lance, riding those stages makes it easier to manage. There is so much trust between you and the rest of the team. They support you over 100% when you need them. Good example is yesterday with Lance, and other times with other teammates.

Well, Thanks for this video updates, I hope you two are having a nice rest day, and also the rest of the team. Good luck with stage 17. We love you!

Hey guys, please DO NOT GET DOWN ON YOURSELVES!!! You know better than that! You were all incredible out there, Popovich included. It made me proud to watch you. You may not be up to your own standards, but you most certainly are up to ours. And nobody seems to be paying attention to the fact that the Team is still leading the team points competition - says something for the team spirit, doesn't it?

Lance - the simple fact that you are racing this soon after your most recent and ongoing show of support for the medical profession is a miracle in itself - trust me, I am a doctor :-) (really).

As the others have said: 1) Thanks for the video updates - I love them, 2)I vote for keeping the hair as is, and 3)would love a stage win (not asking much, I know).

But above all, don't look so down: you done good, boys!

Too bad for Levi, BUT for us fans, this is good news. Hopefully Astana will now try to make things happen instead of just sitting back in the peleton and hiding. Don't wait for Liquigas to go to the front, put your team up there and make the others suffer. If Levi is deserving of winning he should attack (and now has to). Basso, Sastre and Di Luca have all tried (with varying results)...it's time for Levi to do the same.

Also, there's something I don't understand. Lance, why did you leave Levi when he got dropped by the favourites? I understand that eventually you got dropped too and then went back and took Levi all the way to the finish, but shouldn't you guys (Brajkovic and you) stick with Levi even if you could go ahead? For about 5 minutes Levi was isolated of all teammates.

Hey Lance. Enjoying watching youself - among others - in the Giro. Great stuff! Think you're looking stronger every day and are showing glimpes of your old self. Im finding this Giro particularly captivating and fascinating to watch; would be interesting to find out how you feel it ranks with your rides in the more prestigious Le Tour and how it compares on the whole - the scenery is more breathtaking in the Giro at least ;-). As far as racing is concerned, I'v tipped Sastre from the start who is a couragious rider with bags of class, and has the edge over anyone in the mountains. He has hit form at just the right time and will attack again for sure in the remaining mountain stages; I just hope he gains enough time on Menchov - who is looking very strong also - before the final TT. Good luck with getting that elusive first stage victory since your return; it must be v.frustrating knowing riders like Sastre and Menchov have far more miles in their legs - Btw I think your improving form bodes very well for Le Tour. Fingers crossed.

good points about the day after the rest day. I wonder if people REALLY understand how hard it is to do what you do. I do in my own way. I got in 30k vertical last week and thought that was alot, and you guys did half of that in one day! we are all astounded with you and your teams ability to suffer so hard for so long. It is the most challenging sport there is, and thus so inspirational to watch and be a part of. such respect for you guys!

yo levi, it's andrea ratkovic here. odessa and i raced on timex together, and i had dinner with ya'll in san fran one year. lance, i rode with you in the ride for roses in 2000, but i didn't do the whole ride cuz i was hungover from the open bar at the silent auction the night before. you know, they had that AFTER the criterium, so i got trashed quick! loved talking with franci larrieu-smith who i raced when i ran track at OU. she kicked my ass en route to an American 10K record at the texas relays.
anyway, i got hit by a car 2 weeks ago, and i'm laid up keeping tabs on ya'll. thank you. my broken body thanks you. my mind thanks you. my heart and soul are with you. ride on dudes!

I suffered right along with you guys yesterday. Back here in the states I did the junior field at the Tour of Somerville Crit. I'm hoping you guys have heard of it. Had some shifting difficulties, but managed. Granted it was only 15 mi but avgeraged 30mph so I was beat to. Pulled out a prime win, and got through the nasty 25 man pile up in the sprint. But hope you guys are pullin through, keep it up, and save something for that TT hope to see you guys on good form there. And can't wait to see that flashy new custom paint job you had done on the new TT bike Lance!

Lance, what a brutal day! I can only imagine how difficult that was when you said it was your toughest day ever. It's impressive that you have been able to ride as you have after a broken collar bone and 3 years of retirement! Levi, what a great effort! Can't wait to see both of you on the final mtn finish stages and especially the time trial! Good luck to you both! As I sat and watched the grueling stage, I also prayed for a dear friend of mine that was diagnosed with cancer that day. Cancer has a way of putting life all into perspective whether we want it or not. Lance, thank you for your tireless work that you do for all those thousands of fighters and survivors!
