These are good exercises, but they are done too fast.

I would agree but i think he is showing what he does for his strength workout, and not the speed at which he does it.

I would disagree - I'm sure Lance and his trainer know what they are doing and by working at a faster tempo you will work more on Power development and body suppleness.

I've never seen anyone lift weights bare foot before!

Lifting weights bare foot actually helps you generate a lot more power in lower body lifts as there is no cushioning between your foot and the ground. However most people wear weights shoes with wooden insoles to deal with this. They are good exercises and the tempo is probably right for cycling. However his cleans technique isnt great.

From the looks of this video, the peloton has a lot to fear in the upcoming months.

I also thought his clean technique didn't look right, but I guess you have to generate some forward momentum to get the weight moving.

In Arnold's "Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding" Arnold is generally shown barefoot as he demonstrates the exercises, yet he recommends supportive footwear when doing the heavier lifts. (p. 102)

Oh and by the way, never lift the weight, just feel the contraction (yeah baby).

Great video. Wandering if Lance can post a video of core exercises that would add to core stability.
