I know Grady, and I thank you so much for the support and effort you showed Pablo and his family. You're a man that I look up to. A man that I'm sure Pablo looked up to. I believe that Pablo may rest in peace knowing his family's love for him, and that he had a friend like you.

RIP sweet Pablo. I'm sure he is pleased to be remembered as you climb the Alps. I so enjoy watching these videos. They remind me to live every day in gratitude and climb whatever mountains may be in front of me. I can't do what you can do, but I feel your strength. I hope that this Tour is a joyous return for you. Ride with a strong heart and all will be well. What a beautiful, stunning view!

Thanks for honoring Pablo, Lance. I had asked you about Jeff & Pablo last weekend in Nevada City, when you returned from your warm-up ride - and gave me an autograph for a fundraiser. Who would have thunk one week later, Pablo would move on from this world. Bless him. Bless Jeff & Jo Ann & Grady.

by JackLawrenceXXX on June 29, 2009 at 7:19 AM
R.I.P., Pablo! Lance, it's great to see you doing all of this... makes you seem human, although I doubt anyone following you in the Tour would think so! School 'em, Lance... all the way to Paris!
by wramirez on June 29, 2009 at 7:55 AM
Wow Great Work Lance! Looks from the video that you are leaner and meaner. Now go and tear those mountains apart at the TDF and show those guys who is "EL MAESTRO" " THE MASTER" of the mountains. Descansa en paz Pablo.
by bcoole on June 29, 2009 at 8:08 AM
Thank you so much for honoring Pablo. My son and Pablo's dad have been friends since their teens. I ache for Jeff, Jo Ann and Grady. We can all honor Pablo by fully appreciating and living the life we still have, just as he did with the short life he had and would have done if he could.

LS needs to allow us to grab embed code and actually embed the video - providing auto-start MP4 is a pain in the bum.
Cool video, I look fwd to smashing these two hills in 2 weeks time when we're there.
