as a cancer patient and a cyclist i was disappointed when you came to kitchener/Waterloo....one couldn\'t cycle with you unless one paid $l0,000.00. i understand the raising $ for cancer, but a few free spots would have been lovely. congrats on the tour and good luck

Lance is the best compression sock model in the world! Thanks to Robin for bringing this to our attention. He must own the sock company...I\'ll buy stock in it tonight! Personally I think those socks make you knees look fat!

Hey, how about that optibike-dotcom as the fastest bike in the world. I\'ll race Lance on this electric bicycle any day. There\'s no way he can put our 850Watts, constantly, for over an hour! The Optibike CAN, and will, repeatedly (just recharge it).

Lance and Robin .... a possible comedy team on the Vegas Strip? Maybe someday.

Dear Lance Armstrong,

you are such a source of inspiration for people as me!
What you are doing right now in the tour de France, no words can describe that.
Where you stand for, is such a beautiful thing.
Last year, I was by two days at the tour de France, it was a pity that you weren\'t there than.
But I enjoy right now so much from you.

I wish you al the best.
And I hope, you really will win in life and in the Tour de France.

A big fan from you, from Holland!

Ha ha. Both you guys ought to wear black compression socks, shorts and sandals to dinner or for a walk into town. I always get a kick out of the occasional black sock guy on the beach, but you two, you would stop conversation. You would stop traffic. You would bring more joy to France.

FWIW, I\'m with Lance on the compression socks. I\'d rather look dorky than have painfully swollen calves and ankles. Ames-Walker is a great source for compression hose: inexpensive and a whole range of styles and colors.

Hi Lance. How funny and nice. Glad to see that Robin has survived the heart surgery so good. I have the same compression socks but in dark blue. lol. How funny. They really help if it is warm and the legs are swollen. Why did you not break away today at the beginning of the first climb? Did Johan Call you back to stay? Your day will come in the alps. But anyway: It is great how good you still are. My Mum (72) and I (45) watch you every day in TV.

I like it that you are not so vain. Many people would not be willing to wear such compression socks and show them to the public but you do what is just the right thing for the health. Me too. I have also worn them on the bike. Hincapie should also wear them. He has ill legs with danger of trombosis. Tell him he shall wear them in the race. I find them not ugly. Only a bit hard to put them on. And
by the way. Nothing can make you ugly cause I like you very much. And nothing can make me ugly cause I like me too :)

I am a strength and conditioning coach that has all my athletes read your book \"it\'s not about the bike\", because i believe it teaches them a good life lesson!! I was lucky to ride with you in L.A at the \"hope rides again ride\" down sunset to the Ricardo Montalbán Theatre. I was very disappointed when i was outside by myself and you were going up the stairs and i asked you to please sign my book for my athletes, no one was around and u said you couldn\'t!! I was not happy, just a simple signature, i have my pros to my junior high athletes read your book it would of meant a lot to them, they really look up to you no matter what sport they play!!!

Also why would you make for example the MISTER CARTOON SHOE so limited when there are lots of regular people and cancer stricken people that would love to have a pair??? Instead all the shoe junkies waited in line and bought them all up, and are selling them for ridiculous prices!! We the people who really want them and believe in the LIVESTRONG CAUSE cant even get a pair. Wouldn\'t it make more $ for LIVESTRONG if you didn\'t limit the shoes!!! I myself along w my athletes would love to wear a pair and it is a big disappointment that we can\'t!!!

Just a thought

Lance, you look great!

I\'m still angry about stage 7, because Contador should really have helped the team, shown a little more respect, and you\'d have been wearing Yellow through the Pyrenees.
You and the whole Livestrong-community would have deserved it so much!

Yet I know you are not looking back, but always straight ahead, and there will be so many possibilities!

I know you can win this but a part of me wants you to fail as my \"Lance Armstrong Seven Times Tour De France Winner\" poster will seem somewhat obsolete if you do. I wonder if Robin remembers that afternoon in Central Park(NY) when I almost run him over with my bike while he was jogging .
It was after finishing my ride @ NYRacing club (Big George's), when We in the riding group were all surprised by Robin jumping high over the fence to narrowingly avoid us.
I think he did it in purpose since he just gave us a laughing look back and kept running and giggling.Later I saw him riding his white triathlon bike.
I'm sure he did not know then ( as I did not know for myself either ) he would have to be operated.I was too, at a younger age and for the same reason in NYC .It's ironic and funny at the same time; how i see this two great guys going fine tru life.
Robin's grace and good humor will keep him well.
Lance ; has been a great example and inspiration for many of us.
Both of you have a high value for life and look at it in a very different way.just as i look a it simply b/c, without knowing; i had look at them as models and inspirators. I still ride my bike and swimm almost everyday for fitness and for life.
PS:that's why I recommend robin (I'm sure his doctor did too) to wear his compression socks as well. After all, I wear them too :o)

Hello. I am very glad to see so much interest in Le Tour de France. I know this may sound like an over-ambitious goal, but I want to win this incredible bike race. I am only 16 so I have a while to train and get some quality gear together. However, I really need the support of others, like you, in order to complete such a task. On my blog, http://anyone1can1do1it.blogspot.com/ , you can follow my journey from a mere student to the winner of Le Tour de France. The blog isn?t much as of now, but I will post daily, and you will no doubt see dramatic improvements. Thank you for taking the time to read this post!
