Lower Body Weight Training

Yamuna Body Rolling Techniques

Yoga instructor Yamuna Zake created Yamuna Body Rolling, also called YBR. Yamuna body rolling combines elements of massage and stretching. In theory, it reduces restriction, improves range of motion and helps to preserve mobility. The method involves using 6-inch to 10-inch balls to perform movements intended to tone and relax the body. This self-directed method may help to elongate muscles, improve posture and reduce pain, according to the University of Wisconsin Health website.
