How to Lift Saggy Face Muscles With Exercise

Choosing yoga to combat wrinkles, sagging facial muscles and other signs of aging can be a safe alternative to the knife and needle. Facial exercises are free and easy compared with the risks and costs associated with plastic surgery. Annalise Hagen, author of "Yoga Face," teaches facial exercise classes in New York City. She says facial exercises retrain the muscles of the face, decreasing the appearance of saggy jowls, cheeks, eyes and forehead. While dermatologists are skeptical about whether yoga facial exercises actually work, they agree that there is no harm in performing the exercises.
