Meals With 55-65 Grams of Carbohydrates

If your carbohydrate intake is too high, or greater than 50 percent of the calories you consume, low-carbohydrate meals containing healthy substitutes may be the answer to a more balanced diet. Lowering your carbohydrate intake does not mean you have to increase meat-based proteins in your diet. You can increase the vegetable-based proteins in your diet and replace simple carbohydrates with complex carbohydrates to meet your energy needs. Any changes in your diet should be discussed with your physician.
