This is for me, for my life, my health and yes my mirror! LOL!

I'm 44 look younger, but really want to feel younger and that takes MUSCLE!!

I have many different pieces of exercise equipment and own programs and work out DVDs. DOUG JONES is still my favorite and then Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper.

Strength Training first THEN cardio!

In the recent past I had gallbladder surgery and 2 months after that had a very serious car accident landing me in a brace nursing a compression fracture in my back. 21 weeks+ no exercise other than normal living day to day. Just started back with some starts and stops - very frustrating. I cannot wait until I can workout completely again. I watch FitTV and sometimes my work out DVDs to keep the mindset, but have to admit the weight came back and by the New Year I was right back where I started!

I need the strength and energy to make my life better!

I'm "overweight" in the age/height/weight/BMI scale...borderline normal.... so there is a goal.. normal!

    “ Hello!  I've started and stopped many attempts to exercise.  I had a horrible accident that resulted in a compression fracture in my back and a messed up hip.  It has been a year and I'm pretty much way behind square one.  I feel so much better when I feel strong and I feel that now is the time to get back to it.  Safety is key so I am taking care to make good decision.  I've joined Curves.  I can skip machines if my back is bothering me and I only get back from the machines what I give it (push/pull resistance)  so it is much safer fo rmy back. Walking can by trying for my hip so taking it slow.   I'm back :) Today:  Curves at 7am.  Cardio/intervals treadmill walking with incline/ elliptical at 7 resistance 52 minutes.  ”
