About Me
this is my third time attempting to lose weight and it's more important now than it ever was. My health is declining and I hate the person that I have become. My weight was bad at 200, then 250 but finally inching closer and closer to that 300 pound mark was emotionally devastating.
I can't say that it was all bad weight though, but I could have dealt with things better. There were some major breakthroughs in the time that I did gain weight...one of the biggest being that I was actually able to quit smoking! I miss it tremendously at times but am always glad that I don't smoke anymore. The weight I gained after quitting smoking is terrible but at least I know what happened and why I let it happen. I can remove pounds, I cannot remove cigarettes that I have smoked!
But now it's time for taking off the pounds. I have kept my gym membership active all these months in hopes of returning and now I getting back into the habit of going. I do realize though that I am not as into it as I once was. I figure it will take time but that I'll get back into a healthy routine.
I'm on some new medications that I started in February, mainly one for insulin and one for my thyroid. Hopefully these new medications will help regulate, and with my change in lifestyle maybe some pounds will actually come off. I know that if I do my part, they should.
So that's where I stand today. I'm ready for this, and will follow through this time.

    Another week in the books.  I know what happened this week, I didn't go to the gym.  I ate okay but didn't exercise.  Have to work out!  Hopefully I can make my goal of 10 lbs by the 1st of the month!  We'll see!

    The scale is moving, and in the right direction!  I had an okay week and absolutely fell apart this weekend but I'm just going to pick up the pieces and move on.  This is progress for me, because I used to beat myself up for having a bad weekend but  it is what it is!
