About Me
Dr. Laurie Marbas is a family medicine physician currently serving her country as a United States Air Force officer. Her professional experience includes patient care in Texas, Virginia and in the Middle East when deployed with the USAF. Her special interests include sports medicine, breast and skin cancer, and health and fitness education.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Portland, a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University and a medical degree from Texas Tech University HSC School of Medicine. She completed her internship and family medicine residency at Texas Tech University HSC and is board certified in family medicine.

She has published several books including the "Visual Mnemonics" series for medical students and "Blueprints Clinical Procedures." Dr. Marbas created these books due to her love of teaching and sharing knowledge with others.

Dr. Marbas is married and a mother of three active children. She enjoys running, movies, photography, and watching her children's sports events. However, her greatest joy besides spending time with her family is writing. She is currently working on a children's book.
