About Me


I moved to Chicago, where I live with my boyfriend, after graduating college in 2006. I played sports in high school, but I gained about 80 lbs. in the last year and a half of college. I stopped playing sports, and I was going through some rough times. After college, I started working full time in an office, and the weight did not come off. I finally decided to do something about it because I no longer felt like myself. I've been working on losing weight for a little over a year now, and I've lost about 35 lbs. so far. I have about 50 lbs. more to go, and the last few months have been a little slow as weight loss is concerned, but I am getting back on track, and I'm ready to get rid of the rest of the weight.

5 Goals by June 1st:

1. Stay away from diet coke - 3 months and counting!
2. Lose 50 lbs. Shooting for 2 lbs. a week, with a little room.
3. Work out 5 times a week.
4. No stupid snacking/portion control. (One day off per week.)
5. Drink 8 glasses of water a day and 1-2 glasses of green tea.
6. Switch to black coffee, gradually - in progress!
