About Me
July 2011 - This year was quite a challenge for me keeping myself on track. I changed jobs and relocated from Florida to Portland, OR and my weight has gone up and down from not eating due to stress and nerves (interviews, making a HUGE life change) to enjoying the new food and wine scene in my new town. I have been avoiding the scale, but I think it's somewhere around 130 - I am disappointed in myself, but I own it. I lost motivation for exercise and shortly thereafter stopped organizing my meals resulting in eating out a lot.

At my height of 5'1" I think I should be around 115, and my stretch goal would be 110 (wedding weight - 2006). I am re-committed to getting these extra pounds off.

Monthly Results
June 28 - 129.6

Workout plan - 4 days per week at 30+ minutes, or more if able. I have an elliptical machine at home, so I'll start off with that. I want to add in some of my Jillian Michaels and Biggest Loser DVDs to help with strength workouts, but right now the second room is a disaster and there is no room for doing video workouts due to lots of unpacked boxes. My goal is to get that room ready for me to have space for workouts by July 15th.

Food Plan/Goals: Count calories online, drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily, bring my lunch to work at least 3-4 days per week, eat a healthy breakfast every day, and cook dinner at least 5 nights a week (Friday & Saturday off).


2009 "Archive" - so I can remember how hard I worked that year to hit my goal and that success is possible:
Feb 1, 2009 - Starting Weight/Highest Weight: 133
March 3rd - 131 (lost 2 pounds)
April 7th - 128.4 (total lost = 4.6 pounds)
May 5th - 125.6 (total lost = 7.4 pounds)
June 2nd - 122.0 (total lost = 11 pounds)
July 4 - 118.2 (total lost = 14.8 pounds)
August 4 - 116.6 (total lost = 16.4 pounds)
Sept 7, 2009 (Labor Day Challenge) - goal = 115 or less REACHED!!! Lowest weight was 113.
