About Me
I lost over one hundred pounds in my early twenties after breaking up with my high school sweetheart. At my lowest weight (which still wasn't all that low,) I met my husband. After we got married, I started gaining "hubby weight". I slowly, over 5 and a half years, gained back half of what I originally lost. Then I decided to quit smoking, which, while one of the best decisions I've ever made, was not kind to my waistline. I gained another 20 pounds. Now that I'm confident I'll never smoke again, I'm more than ready to get all of this weight off again. I loved being healthy and loved living healthily. I want to be back in that state of mind again.

4/15/10= 250 lbs (by the end of tax season for my mini vacation!)
5/15/10= 235 lbs
6/15/10= 220 lbs
7/4/10= 210 lbs (in time for my favorite holiday!)
7/31/10= 195 lbs (for my high school reunion.)
8/31/10= 185 lbs
9/30/10= 175 lbs
10/31/10= 165 lbs
11/26/10= 155 lbs (for my anniversary)
12/19/10= 145 lbs (my goal weight for my birthday.)

My goals are lofty, and they will probably change over time, but I want to be optimistic at the outset. I'm not easily discouraged, so I figure if I set them high, my competitive nature will set in and hopefully I can reach them!
