I spend most of my time working. I joined livestrong.com as a way to hold myself accountable for my sedentary lifestyle outside of work thereby motivating myself to regularly exercise and intake a proper amount of fluids.

    “Rode 16 miles with a pair of friends.  One had a flat tire at 4 miles and called his girlfriend for a pickup.  The other wrecked his bicycle at 7 miles (minor scrapes).  I made it out unscathed.  Averaged about 12.8 mph over the ride.   I went on to sing karaoke later with the friend who wrecked (only had two glasses of water, promise) and won $100 in the contest.   Good day...”

    “Went back out for my second ride tonight after a 3 year haiatus.  Sure was windy!  We did 11.6 miles in a little over an hour.  Not amazing, but not bad for a 420lb guy on his second ride in 3 years.  Just going to get better and easier as the lbs roll off!”
