I've battled my weight since I was 9 years old--either the actual physical pounds or my body image. Even at very low weights, including an anorexic phase as a teenager, I've always felt fat.
Most recently--late August 2010, I had climbed to an all-time high of 186--at 5' 8" I was disgusted with myself. I am also an alcoholic and relapsed after a 10 year period of sobriety thinking I could drink moderately...wrongo! So, I gave up the booze again and got back on track. I'm down to 157--29 pounds, and my new goal is to weigh 150 by my 50th birthday in early May.
Well, it's March 25th and I've hit my goal of 150 and surpassed it...down to 148 for a total of 38 pounds lost; 15 of which since 2/1 through intermittent fasting.
Update...April 19th and down to 144...and on vacation in Florida as well!
42 pounds in my rearview mirror!
June 22, 2011: 135.8...51 pounds GONE>>>>
September 2011: 131...56 pounds GONE>>>>>
February 2012: Maintaining at around 133...still sober and relatively happy!
