Update - 9/2/09 - well it's been a while since I was here, but now I'm back; When I was tracking my habits all seemed to be much better, so I'm re-initiating the habit. Unfortunately I was unable to complete the triathlon I signed up for - had a killer sinus infection during that week. Regardless, I stuck to the training and lost the weight I wanted to.
Unfortunately shortly after the sinus infection I got a really bad UC flare up and have been dealing with that since. I'm hoping that by tracking again and watching what I do I can get it under control.

Just joined livestrong.com to track my progress as I prepare to run a triathlon later this year. I signed up for it so that I would get myself in gear and lose the extra 30lbs or so I have been carrying around.
Motivated to cut down my beer consumption, exercise regularly and track what I eat so that I can get healthier and fitter.
Still getting the feel for the site, but once I do I hope to spend more time here and getting to know others with similar goals...
