If I lose 2 lbs a week consistently, I will reach my first goal around Nov 5. Pending some disaster, this rate will bring me down to 185 on Christmas eve...170 on my birthday...wow.
Why I'm doing this now:
I've had enough. I'm doing myself a favor, doing something for myself, it's completely selfish and it's for superficial reasons. I'm getting myself healthy and I'm losing weight because I want to put my life to good use, and to be honest, I want to catch some women in the act of checking me out :)
And okay, my reasons aren't purely superficial, my genes point directly at me having heart issues down the road, so while I'm trying to impress myself and impress the ladies, hopefully I'm saving my life and preparing myself for being there for a wife and some kids someday.
I'm taking this challenge head on and I can't wait to see what's in store for me, not if, but *when* I achieve my goals. And yeah, that's me with both World Series trophies...
