About Me
I am 53 years old, work full time and have been married almost 30 years......yes to the same man (call me crazy!). I have two children who are both living on their own now. This change in my life sort of snuck up on me. I started having problems with my feet around 5 years ago. My doctor told me it's time the weight comes off. At that time I weighed 257 lbs. So I started......with his help and got my weight down to 170 which was a perfect weight for me considering I work out extensively. Everyone told me how good I looked and I myself was pretty darn pleased. But then I got "cocky". Thought, oh just a few pounds.........I can lose that!! and I kept saying it until I got back up to 204. I stopped when I heard about this site, joined and as of today (2/26/09) I am down to 197. I want to be at 170 again by the first weekend in June (my niece is getting married) I am determined this time and I am sooooooooo glad I heard about this site....it's really made me stay on track.
