About Me
I actually read my profile for the first time in a long time, and it hit me, that person doesn't exist anymore. I'm still a single mom, but he's now 18 and I've been moving in my own direction. That's the person who should be showcased here, so here it goes, the new me.


I'm a very diverse person, with so many likes and talents. I have a great love for the outdoors and have found a local group that will help me move from car camping, canoeing and small rock climbs, to back-packing, white water rapids, and heading out west for a big climb some day. I'm also big into the arts, and a huge portion of that is instrumental. I play multiple instruments, with oboe being the primary one. I found a group that I will start performing with in the fall, after a three year hiatus. Can't wait to bring that back into my life.

I came to DP a little over a year ago to help me live a more healthy life style, which I haven't done. I'm actually heavier and more out of shape now, than when I started, but it's nobody's fault my my own (granted, there have been a few setbacks, but that's life). There's a wealth of information here, all I have to do is ask. And it's time I started living the life I want. So say good-bye to the extra weight and being out of shape, and say hello to the new and improved me.
