Jake Veigel, M.D. is a sports medicine physician who is a graduate of the UMASS sports medicine fellowship. He is a native of Utah but thoroughly enjoys the Finger Lakes region of New York State.
He is a team physician for Cornell University, Ithaca College, State University of New York Cortland, and Tompkins-Cortland Community College.
He has helped with medical coverage for various events including the Ogden Marathon, the Ogden Nissan XTERRA Mountain Triathlon, and the Boston Marathon. He is the medical director of the Cayuga Lake Triathlon.
He enjoys cycling, mountain biking, kayaking, skiing, hiking, and basketball.
