I've been married for 12 years to a wonderful man and am the proud mother of two beautiful little boys (10 and 6).
I'm barely 5' tall, so it's hard to hide any extra weight. I love to lift weights and I am a Zumba instructor and Personal Trainer. I'm actually addicted to Zumba! If you ever get a chance, I suggest you try it!
TDP has helped me finally reach my fitness goals and I've maintained it for 3 years. My goal is to continue this healthy lifestyle.

6/17/10 - Passed the AFAA Group Certification!!! Woot!
6/9/10 - Got hired to be certified as a Personal
Trainer!!!
6/6/10 - AFAA examination completed. Get results in 4-6
weeks!
4/10/10 - Zumba Gold Trained
3/7/10 - Zumba Basics 2 Trained
2/4/10 Final Measurements - -1.45 inches, -.2 lbs, -1.85% body fat!! Final body fat %age - 15.4% - Fantastic!!!
1/28/10 Trainer's nutrition plan - only for one week to lean out before the trip to Mexico:
Meal 1 Protein shake w/ flax seed and 1 c berries
Meal 2 Protein shake w/ flax seed
Meal 3 1 serv lean meat, 1-2 servings of veggies, fish oil
Meal 4 Protein shake or cottage cheese, fish oil, almonds
Meal 5 1 serv lean meat, 1-2 servings of veggies
1/25/10 Measurments: -1.9 inches, -1.8lbs (104.5), -.75% body fat (17.25%). Happy to continue with progress, I've met and surpassed my original goals I set with the trainer, the rest is just bonus ;) Awesome!
1/4/10 Measurements : -2.35 inches, -1.3lbs (106.3) , -.9% body fat (17.85%), woot woot considering this was accomplished over the holidays!!
12/14/09 Measurements: left them at the gym!!! But this I do remember: -1.3 lbs, -3.25% body fat (18.75%), - 1.5 inches (maybe more but he forgot to measure my waist!) woot!!

11/23/09 Measurements retaken with trainer: -5 lbs, -6.75 inches, -3% body fat (22%), woot woot!
11/16/09 Trainer made up my nutrition plan today, here it is:
1350 total cals/day
40% carbs (130 g)
30% protein (97.5 g)
30% fat (43.3g )
11/13/09 Started training with a personal trainer today. Hopefully this will get me to my goal! Goals:
Weight: 105-108 ongoing (met 1/25/10)
Body Fat: 18% (met 1/4/10)
Inches Lost: 6 (met 11/23)

Body fat up 5%!!, weight up 4 pounds, inches up 5.45, wow!! I have my work cut out for me :o) I'm ready for the challenge though, wish me luck!
8/23/09 I got licensed to teach Zumba!!! I got my first class at a local gym and am super excited to start teaching.
7/10/09 I finished "New Rules of Lifting for Women"!!!
