About Me
I am a stay at home mom of 2 kids. I have a 3 1/2 year old autistic son and a 3 month old daughter. I wanted to change the way I feel about myself so I am doing it. I weighed in on nov. 11, 2011 at 315 pounds. The biggest I have ever been in my entire life. I made my first goal to lose 15 pounds by Jan.1. PIECE OF CAKE! LOL. My second goal was to cut fast food out of my family's diet. I understand that somethings come up so I made the exception of subway when our schedules demand it. That goal was very difficult but I accomplished it for January. February I wasnt so disciplined.

    “I have been gone from livestrong for about a week.  I cant believe it has been that long. I have been out sick with a bug. sneezing and coughing. I lost my voice but luckily I never developed a fever. Must have been the weather changing. anyway. so I started sunday getting back in the groove of things and i am SO INCREDIBLEY SORE. I dont know what to do. I Have an extreme [problem with DOMS., Am I supposed to wait untill my muscles recover or just push through it? Everyday after Strength training I am soar but the next day I do a light 30 min. cardio and then the next day its like i cant even move or basically i have to use all my energy just to get out of bed in the morning. my brain is telling my legs to move but it takes about 3sec or more for them to actually move.. and you can forget about walking up or down stairs. I did my strength training on sunday monday was my light cardio and today OMG! I am supposed to do strength training again but what I am wondering is if it is ok just to sit and do light weights or something with my arms.   I am assuming this is why u focus on one area on strength training at a time., sunday maybe i should do core. tuesday arms and thursday legs? that way I have two days to recover instead of 1. what do u think?”

    “I just wanted to share my excitement witth all of you. I lost 4 pounds this week! weekly weigh in was 274. I am so excited that I am closer to my goal!only 124 pounds left to shed! I was really bad last night. I stayed up late and caught myself munching on pringles, and girl scout cookies. i ate over 600 calories in 10 minutes and went over my daily calorie goal. im gonna continue to work my butt off again this week and keep seeing these results. thank you so much for encouraging me yall.”

    “I've been walking and working my theighs a lot. Ihave lost about 25 pounds and thats great i know but i have noticed that instead of toning up my inner theighs they are droopy. How can I tone these up? I don't know what to do. Am I losing weight too quickly? Should I be doing something differently? Also, I have noticed my belly getting softer. I have a large lower jelly roll, a dunlap, as I call it because it "dun lapped" over. How do I target this area?”
