About Me
I am in the USAF and am looking to get in shape. I'm planning to run the AF marathon next year so I'm starting to prep now by keeping track of my workouts and what I eat. I stumbled on this site and found it to be very cool. I recommend it to a lot of my friends.

On 29 Aug 2008, I went and had my body fat percentage checked. I did one of those Bod Pod machine tests. Athough I was suprised at my body fat percentage (24%) is as high as it is. I lost 18 lbs since 1 Jun 2008. So as of 29 Aug, I am 159.6 lbs and have a 31 inch waist.

As of 5 Oct 2008, I am 155 lbs with a 29 inch waist. I the last few weeks I had a lot of stress going on in my life. I've missed the gym for a couple weeks. I need to start back up.

As of 5 Nov 2008, I'm 151 lbs.

As of 2 Jan 2009, I'm 139.9 lbs with a BMI of 20.07. And for some reason still showing a higher Total Fat Percentage than I want, it's 19.3%. It looks like I lost about 7 or 8 lbs of muscle mass. I really need to kick it in gear and start to bulk up. 27 1/2 inch waist.

As of 11 Mar 2009, I'm 142.5 lbs with a BMI of 20.43. I gained a few lbs of muscle. Nice. 27 1/2 inch waist.

On 10 April 2009, I got another BFP Test. 142.7 lbs with a BMI of 20.4. My BFP is 16.3%. Even though it's gone down I want it to be a lot lower still. I gained back 6.5 lbs of muscle. 12 more to go to reach my goal. Still a 27 1/2 inch waist.

On 5 May 2009, 143.5 lbs with a BMI of 20.6. On Saturday I did a practice fitness test with the Air Force testing standards. I maxed out everything butthe run, although I did run my 1.5 miles 2 minutes faster than I did two months ago. I'm definatly seeing improvements in my running. Still a 27 1/2 inch waist.

On 8 July 2009, I'm 147.1 lbs. I gained 2 lbs of muscle since starting P90X. I feel great other than some soreness. I'm looking forward to getting another BFP test after finishing the program. My BMI is 21.1, the highest it's been in months! I still have a 27 1/2 inch waist. So that's good that I weigh more but still have a little waist.

21 July 2009 - I weighed myself at the gym. 149.9 lbs. I have gained around 5 lbs since starting p90x. That program is amazing. I hate it... and I love it. I hope to top out at 157 with 10% or less BFP.

22 Mar 2010 - Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted. I have completed p90x twice since the last post. I have reached 160 lbs. Last time I checked my BPF was sitting about 19%. It's been a few months since then but I think it's gone down. I am currently training for the Warrior Dash in Joliet IL on 19 June.

I figured out what my goal is: 10 - 12 % body fat and be 155 lbs. That means 137 lbs lean muscle mass, and about 18 lbs of body fat. So It looks like I have some muscle to build.
