I have lost 20# and am now trying to maintain or lose a few more. My motivation was to be able to keep up with my Grandchildren.
Since moving to Florida in 2000, I have got into a regular routine of exercising. Routinely walk for an hour, 5 days a week, with a neighborhood group of ladies. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I attend a Jazzercise class for an hour. Normally go to the gym on Saturday and/or Sunday and do the elliptical for an hour. I am at a point where I feel sluggish if I don't get in my exercise.
When we visit our Grandchildren in NJ I take an early morning walk and my 6 year old grandson likes to join me. We walk slower than I would if I am alone, but we go to the park and he climbs on a big rock that is there. It's our special time. I like being the Grandma that takes long walks with him.
