“Time to come clean and hold myself accountable ... to hopefully turn things around.   Two days of too busy to walk PLUS Four days in a row of thunderstorms equals SIX DAYS OF NO WALKING!   PLUS car in the shop, PLUS three final papers to write, PLUS two finals on Thursday, PLUS having to plan the logistics to go out of town on Friday ... equal one HORRIBLE WEEK.   I am shocked, disgusted, and appauled at myself for how many times I have gone for the peanuts, veggie chips, banana chips, etc ... all are at least 120cal/oz ... and because I have quite weighing any of my food since yesterday afternoon or tracking what I have been eating, I have no idea how much I have been eating.   super LE SIGH ... ”

“Just wanted to share my 120 calorie 20g Protein morning snack.     Let me start out by saying, I was always afraid to try egg white omelets. However, after having 1.5 fried eggs (1 egg & 1 egg white) for about a week now, I thought I'd try it today.     This is a 3 egg white omelete with 1 string cheese and some Protein Shake to give it some oomph (like I do with my regular omelets). This is the nutritional information for it:

  • lapbandgirl09 posted How could I loose control so fast? in the group How could I loose control so fast?
“I have apparently been on a downward spiral for three days and its primarily because I have not been able to do my usual walks plus eating out.   I don't even have a clue as to why I went over calories on Thursday other than I ran out of time to go walking before class and I get home at 10pm, which is too late to go out and be able to get to sleep at a decent hour. I should have had better control than what I did.   Friday night, I surprised my sweetie with an unexpected invitation to eat at his favorite Asian restaurant (Pei Wei). I am not very familiar with their menu and didn't go as prepared as I should have. Ended up getting Shrimp Pad Thai (680 cal a serving!). I thought, well at least I need to walk 5 miles to night. I should be okay. Unfortunately, my car breaks down and the majority of the night is spent waiting on a tow truck and then getting it to the mechanics place. We got home way too late for me to go out walking.   Saturday, I went to breakfast with my wonderful in-laws. We went to The Original Pancake House. Did you know you could eat an entire day's worth of calories at one meal there?!? Well, I was good and had an egg white omellet with mushrooms and tomatoes. No breakfast meat and ate only one of the pancakes that came with the dish. I think it ended up being less that 400 cal total. Plus I have breakfast for tomorrow already made! Plans to eat the other half of my Shrimp Pad Thai and I would have been fine but before I could get out there and walk my scheduled 7 miles, it starts thundering! ARGH! Thats when the spiral started. First one serving of bunnies. Then some frozen berries with milk. Then some microwave popcorn. Then more frozen berries and milk. THEN three Voortman chocolate chip cookies (100cal ea) and a full glass of milk!?! I think the only reason I am only 500 calories over goal instead of more is because as much as I wanted more bunnies, I choose the frozen berries instead.   I seriously need to get out and walk tomorrow!!!!”

“I've been hanging around 165-167 for a couple three months now. Found out my thyroid was off and the adjusted meds are helping ... but ... I put into action an idea I had and have been seeing some interesting results. I set my Nike+ and LS weight to my challenge goal weight (158lbs) and have been seeing the scale start to move. Not sure if this is a crazy (not really well thought out) plan and should be abandoned or if seeing the lower calorie goal is helping me to get out and get active even more than before. I will tweak or abandon the idea if I start loosing more than 2lbs a week. But for right now, I'll take it!   In any case ... wanted to share”
