My main goal is to continuously eat healthful foods (whole, vegan foods) while keeping processed foods at a minimal-to-none. My goal is to have a healthy relationship with food, and to make exercise an automatic part of my daily life (that I enjoy!)
I'm currently a stay-at-home mom to a little girl who turned 3 years old in April 2012. I have a lot of fun playing around with her & making special family memories together. May 9th, 2012 I get to marry the best guy I've ever known. We enjoy hiking, biking, squirt gun fights, sidewalk chalk- all things art & outdoors- shopping, cooking, & learning about health & fitness. We both have come a long way! We are stoked to be able to share what we've learned with our daughter, so that she gets to grow up in a healthy environment.
For adult-time I enjoy b horror movies, all things comedic horror, going to shows, parties, pampering myself, photography, reading: Stephen King, Anne Rice, H.P. Lovecraft, E.A. Poe, R.A. Salvatore- along with vegan cookbooks, health & nutrition books, books pertaining to ethical veganism, & parenting & child development books.
Even more recently since my 20lb+ weight-loss, I've been really enjoying tapping into my "skinny pile" of clothes I put away!! There isn't one thing that doesn't fit me now, but there are things that could fit me better. I'm really looking forward to life, and I'm really happy! Health & fitness counts! I've learned they can make a HUGE impact on depression. I'm really feeling like myself again.... finally.
Making more & more healthy lifestyle changes has been a challenge, and with every challenge conquered comes more excitement for the next! Bring it on!!
