About Me
I am 35 yrs old 5ft 7in. I had my kid at 17 and gained a lot of weight. My highest weight was 220. Lost 80 lbs when I was between 19 & 20, it took a year and a half. Lowest weight was 134 (to skinny, no muscle) My normal weight (and goal) is between 140-145 but over the course of my 20's I kept gaining and losing the same 20 lbs. Gained a little more than 20 in 2008(@31yrs old), got up to 179.
After starting again in 09 I got a little stalled out for a while. My focus switched from losing weight to exercising because my main goal now is to stay young. I have put my body through lots of ups and downs over the years and I am done with that. I am just trying to find a healthy balance so I can be happy and healthy for many years. Strength, longevity and well-being. My goals for life.

starting (again) weight 2/28/09: 179
update 4/23/09: 170.8, a little slow going.
7/13/09: 168, finally broke that plateu I had going at 169. hopefully this is just a start of losing again.
7/31/09: 163.5. Yeay! Only 2 more pounds and I'll be halfway to my goal.
8/7/09: 161.5, halfway there! Can't beleive I lost 2 lbs in a week. That never happens! 29% body fat
9/3/09: 162, managed to gain 1/2 lb. Not water weight, holding this weight for about 2 weeks. Arrgh! Another plateu. Didn't make my goal of 30 lbs by August. New goal, 8 lbs by Halloween.
9/17/09: 28.3% body fat. Down a little
10/10/09: 160.4 Finally a loss!
10/18/09: started carb cycling
10/24/09: 158 Yeay!
10/31/09: 27.3% BF
11/8/09: 156.5. Also added more weight to my dumbells. They are now 17 lbs each.
11/14/09: 155
11/25/09: 155, still. Going on maintenance until 12/2.(Vacation) goal calories: 2152
12/17/09: 156 blah! no carb cycling since 11/26.
12/28/09: 156. Giving up on carb cylcing for now. Need to focus on eating cleaner.

1/16/10: 155. Back to pre holiday weight. Want to reach 145 by March 1st.
3/7/10: Still 155, been dealing with some personal issues so I have been stressed and depressed.
6/20/10: 157.5 I really have been avoiding posting this. I was hoping it would just go away. Ha!
6/25/10: got up to running 35 minutes straight, so signed up for 1/2 marathon. It's in Oct.
7/10/10: 156.5 Ran 5.2 miles straight in 57 min! YES!
7/21/10: 155.5 glad to see I am going down again. Maybe this 1/2 marathon training is just what I needed.
8/21/10: 154.8, today I ran 8.22 miles. My longest so far.
9/4/10: Ran 10.31 miles today. Yeay!
10/9/10: Ran 1st 1/2 marathon. Time 2:25, ran the whole thing. In 16 weeks went from running 3 miles straight to 13.1.
5/3/2011: 162,It was a rough winter, kinda fell off track. Getting back to running. I have gotten my strength training back on track though, back to where I was pre 1/2 marathon training. My goal is to be able to do weights 3x's a week and doing 5 mile runs 3-4x's a week, then maybe another 1/2.
10/8/11: Ran my 2nd half marathon. 2:29 was my time.
12/4/11: made my goal of running 20 miles a week
12/17/11: 159 lbs, hoping to at least maintain through the winter.
1/22/12 Lifting 3 times a week and running 20 miles a week. Met my goal. Yeay!
05/01/12 Made goal of running consistently through the winter. Snow, wind and all.
05/06/12 3rd half marathon. Time was 2:13:41. New PR!
