Since first joining LiveStrong, I've now lost about 15 pounds (10.7% of my body weight) and went from a size 8-10 to a size 2-4. My focus is now shifting toward building muscle and reducing fat.
Ideally I'd like to get down to below 20% body fat and become a better athlete.

Since I have now reached my goal weight, I'll share the things that really worked well for me:

- Tracking everything I eat and drink and all workouts on LiveStrong. Every day for a over a year.
- Trying to consistently hit my calorie target plus or minus 50 calories every day, and not dropping below my BMR.
- Watching the balance of my macronutrients and aiming to get at least 25g of fiber and 80g of protein every day.
- Drinking plenty of water (this is still a struggle for me).
- Incorporating strength training and new classes into my workouts. P90x workouts are fantastic!
- Staying active on the Lose Weight dare, whose users are a great source of advice, validation and a kick in the butt when I need it!
