About Me
Working mother of 3 ages 2 through 9. Was once very active although never thin (I was 135 at 16 at my current height of 5' 2") and have only recently come to understand that I have eaten horribly since high school (never or very rarely breakfast, occasionally lunch and a large dinner often with dessert of some kind). I did really well tracking my food and fitness for about six months and lost some focus a few months back, put back on 15 of the 40#'s I lost by falling into old habits, mostly no breakfast and large dinner..... I know that eating frequently 5-6 x's a day works for slow weight loss so I just need to regain some focus in that area and get my metabolism stoked up again. I struggle with not wanting to eat or wishing I hadn't eaten what I did eat after I've done it, but it does work and I just need to do it. I am part of Jackson's 100 pound challenge and if/when goal met will be at the high end of a healthy weight for my height. Love Livestrong and the Jackson's challenge. So glad I found this site & that group.
