“Good Afternoon! I was an active LS member a couple of years ago. A shoulder injury, followed by pregnancy and adjusting to being a mom side-lined me and I stopped participating much on LS (or working out very much). Now, my little boy is 7 months old, and I have to focus on looking after myself again. I started working again on February 1, and I have been working out at lunchtime 4 days/week (Monday through Thursday) ever since. I want to keep active on the weekends, too, but that may take longer to work into my schedule. I am still 20 lbs heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight, and it would be nice to lose those pounds, but my real goal is fitness. I want to be healthy and able to go on hikes, skiing, etc. without worrying about my body's ability to handle it. The beauty of being a beginner again is that I can almost feel my muscles waking up and getting stronger. I also love that feeling of my lungs being used fully, not the shallow, crappy breathing I usually do all day.”
