posted Being Sore in the group Being Sore
“Hi Mark, I want to know if I need to be sore the next day to know I worked out enough? I usually work on different muscle every day but now i'm realizing i'm not usually sore at all. Is this something normal or does it mean i have to increase my weights? I usually do a P90X workout and they are challenging while i'm doing them but the next day i feel fine. I'm also doing a tabata bootcamp twice a week and not sore anymore either. I have been taking in more protein because didn't think i was taking in what i should have been. Thanks! Happy Hump Day everyone...”

“Hi Mark, I'm going on vacation in 2 weeks and I really want to max my workouts and diet. Should i avoid all sugars at this point? I usually have some sugar with coffee in the morning cause it starts my day and i usually need something sweet after lunch. Is that totally horrible or is it ok? I've been working out 6 days a week and taking Sundays as a rest day. my trouble area is around the belly button area. I just can't seem to slim that down...I think i have to get really strict with my diet intake even though i eat very healthy for the most part....Thanks!”

posted what to eat? in the group what to eat?
“Hi guys, Just wanted to know if i work out around 6:30 should i eat my dinner before that which would be around 5:00, or should i just eat something light maybe a banana or some oatmeal? Sometimes when i get back around 8 i just want to shower and have a whey protein shake and that's it. Maybe this is why i'm short on calories because i don't really have dinner. Really confused on what to eat before working out at night. Thanks”

Today is a rest day and tomorrow morning at 7am i'm taking a tabata session and it should be insane with my crazy instructor!! Looking foward to a healthy weekend...maybe a little red wine to unwind...have a great weekend all!”

“Hi Mark, I was wondering what you think of Tabata workout? My zumba instructor just got certified on it and she's doing a bootcamp twice a week. It starts next week and she says it's amazing. wanted to get your input since I wasn't sure to do it or not...there's is a teaser class this saturday to hear more on it and to give us an hour workout..I love bootcamps because it makes me work out harder than i would and exercises I could never do on my own too. Thanks

“Hi guys. Haven't checked in a while....here it goes! So i've been running mostly and haven't really been doing any strength training lately. Going to try and do it today. My question is how much should i be working out? Is it everyday or 3 times a week? I really want to lose my belly flab and it's just sooooo HARD! What should i seriously not be eating?? I feel like I eat good but then I hear fruits aren't so good cause it contains sugar...how else can i incorporate protein besides meat? should i do whey protein shakes? I've had 3 kids so i know i probably have to work triple the amount to get rid of this flab. It's not even that much because i am skinny but the flab really irritates me. It's just a little right by the belly button area. SO ANNOYING!! I run and do zumba all the time and it's still not enough....please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Should i cut out dairy??”
