I'm a 27 year old building envelope consultant. I have gained over 100 pounds over the last 11 years and now it's time to lose it! In much less than 11 years!
There is a fabulous clinic close to where I live that offers nutritional counseling, group support sessions and has doctors on staff to monitor your health during weight loss (including running tests to be sure you're losing fat and not muscle). I was fortunate enough to receive a referral from my doctor. Now I have the tools, and it's all up to me.
I am currently basking in the quick loss that always occurs when I begin a healthy lifestyle. I know my loss will slow in the future and that is okay. Slow and steady wins the race :)
