About Me
Out and Proud , disability advocate, social justice seeker, single mom recovering from a traumatic C-section. The Schwarzbein Principle, Jen Waak, my movement coach, Z-Health & Kettlebells are the secrets of my success. Severe Vitamin D deficiency, hypothyroidism, asthma, allergies and disability have challenged me on the way to becoming fit.

I hired my coach with the stated goal of shedding 20 inches of waist. [*As of August 31, 2010, I'm officially over half way to that goal. I've shed 10.25 unnecessary inches from my waist.*] She asked me to track and it was disastrous until I found LS. Along the way I've taken up a number of dares here at LS: Drink more water, Lose weight, Reduce waist size, Lose 200 pounds, Do 100 (consecutive) Pushups by [March 31,] 2011.

I've fallen in love with the beautiful simplicity of Z-Health and want to get certified in it to help others on the way to becoming a doctor. [Received my R-Phase, Z-Health Certification in August 2011, Started my own personal training/life coaching business September 2011] Seeing the results of Kettlebell instruction viewed through a neural lens, I plan to also get certified in Z-Health informed Kettlebell instruction. I have set my goals at the highest level. My journey may take longer than I originally planned but it is SO worth it.

As a group, the women who swing Kettlebells and practice Z drills seem to have bodies that function at a higher level than any other female athletes I've found. Wanting to be my best, I am surrounding myself with them in Seattle, Victoria, BC and around the world.
