I'm a 42 year old mom of 2 young men, ages 17 and 23, and I've been married for 23 years to their dad. I don't remember the weight I was at before my first son was born, but I was wearing a size 14. I'd be ecstatic to get down to a 16 again! Being a wife and mom to these guys has helped me steadily gain weight, not to mention that I have osteoarthritis in my knees, elbows and shoulders. My highest weight has been 282. I am a member of Weight Watchers, but needed a little extra motivation. Back in October of 2007, I had lost 35 pounds on WW...then the holidays showed up...and I gained 15 of them back. I'm now down 30 again, but would like to be back to my 35 pound loss by the beginning of August when I have a family wedding to go to.I found this site and joined in May. It seems to be helping me track my calories. The one thing I don't like is when you log any activity, it tells you that you can eat more...which I don't need!
