About Me
Time for a fresh start! My goal will be to reach 158 pounds by the first day of summer June 20, 2012. (borrowed from WxGirliz..love it!)

I will achieve this goal by:

1. Track my calories.
2. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
3. Eat 1500 calories a day.
4. Exercise everyday (something).
5. Making healthy food choices.

    “I have to laugh - I went to my LiveStrong myplate and started to log calories, and noticed it was going to let me have 2000 calories today! (usually its 1500)....I got so excited - was I being rewarded for good behavior?? What could I eat worth 500 calories (YOU LADEIS KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!)...anyway, it was just that I hadn't logged in in a few days, it did not know it was me, and what my weight loss goals were.....once I realized this, the reality of 1500 calories set back in.....man, thats not many!!!! On a positive note: I went to the pool today with my daughter, and I put on some cover up shorts I usually wear (hide those thighs!!)... you know the kind that you can swim in, almost like boy trunks...anyway..they used to ride up my thighs because they (even though size 14) were too small...BUT NOT TODAY!!!  They fit right, and actually my thighs are so less jiggly I almost did not wear them (except I hadn't shaved in a while and the public would prefer that I did ;-) Anyone else in a bathing suit yet this Memorial Day weekend???”

    “LW 171 CW  171 posted 5/7 water 5/7 exercised: 135 minutes.....obviously NOT ENOUGH!   On the up side - I signed up for a 5k run on June 12 with my son.  I always wanted to try it, and since I can go 4 miles on the eliiptical, I am hoping I can make it! Running is harder for me tough, all the pounding (I had knee surgery years ago) but I am determined to set this goal and keep it. Our town gym (National Training Center - we are lucky!) sponsors a 5k every month. I am hoping to keep doing them and watching my progress. BTW You can look for events like this in your town on www.imathlete.com - lots of local races etc. to get involved in!”
