I am 30 years old I married a great guy last April in Maui Hi. My husband is very supportive and me and my decisions. I am a physical therapist that works a full and prn job that doesn't leave much time for anything else. With my work I would often make bad decisions on what I ate grabbing the next meal out of the closest fast food window. Even though I knew that this was horrible for my health. But it is time for a lifestyle change I am overweight and out of shape. I joined Livestrong October 2009 ready to commit and make some much needed changes. It was a real eye opener at my last MD check up when I was asked when I was planning a family? And then I was told that I really needed to loose some weight fisrt. The truth is I would love to have a baby but know I am not ready physically. So here I am to get myself healthy so I can move forward to the next step in my life. I have about 50lbs to lose from January 2010 before I think I will be comfortable in my own skin. I know this is going to be a long hard journey but I am prepared to take it as it comes.
