I was diagnosed with high blood pressure about 2 years ago, and initially attempted to lower it through diet and fitness. Eventually, my Doctor and I chose to treat the condition with medication, but I am still moving forward with diet and exercise life choices that hopefully are a bit better than before. Over the past 2 years I have lost nearly 40 pounds by eating a higher protein, "clean food" diet with lots fresh fruit, vegetables, lean/lowfat diary, and whole grain carbs.
The next challenge is to curb sodium intake (dang, I LOVE salt!). I'm not sure I'll reach the goal of seeing my abs before I die, but I'm much closer! I'll keep trying. ;) - Steven
